থাকার প্রয়োজন নেই। দরকার ইন্টারনেটে সংযুক্ত একটি কম্পউটার। শুধু একটি
ওয়েবসাইটে ঢুকেই আপনি ঘরে বসেই আপনার জাতীয় পরিচয় পত্রের যাবতীয় কিছু
নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারবেন খুব সহজেই। চলুন তাহলে সেই সহজ নিয়ম এবং
প্রক্রিয়াগুলো জেনে নেই।

প্রথম ধাপ
নিবন্ধনের জন্য যেতে হবে নির্বাচন কমিশন অফিসের নির্ধারিত ওয়েবসাইটে: https://services.nidw.gov.bd/registration
এরপর ক্লিক করতে হবে ‘রেজিস্ট্রেশন ফরম পূরণ করতে চাই’ অংশে। এই সাইট
https ফরম্যাটে হওয়ায় আপনার ফায়ারফক্স ব্রাউজার হলে লেখা আসতে পারে This
Connection is Untrusted. এ ক্ষেত্রে সমাধান হলো প্রথমে ‘I Understand the
Risks’-এ ক্লিক করুন। এরপর On the warning page…লেখা আসবে। ‘I Understand
the Risks’-এ ক্লিক করতে হবে। এরপর ‘Add Exception’-এ ক্লিক করে পরে
‘Confirm Security Exception’-এ ক্লিক করলে একটি পেজ ওপেন (অনলাইন ফরম)
হবে।
আপনি ভোটার হয়ে থাকলে বা আপনার জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র করে থাকলে নিবন্ধনের জন্য এই ফরমটি পূরণ করতে হবে। জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বর, জন্ম তারিখ, মোবাইল নম্বর (এই নম্বরে ভেরিফিকেশন কোড পাঠানো হবে), ইমেইল ঠিকানা, বর্তমান ও স্থায়ী ঠিকানা দিয়ে পাসওয়ার্ড দিতে হবে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বর ১৩ সংখ্যার হলে অবশ্যই প্রথমে আপনার জন্ম সাল দিতে হবে। ধরা যাক, আপনার জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বর ৩৯২৮৫০৬৯৫৫৬৫৫ ও জন্মসাল ১৯৮৫। আপনাকে পূরণ করতে হবে ১৯৮৫৩৯২৮৫০৬৯৫৫৬৫৫। ভোটার হওয়ার সময় দেওয়া তথ্য অনুসারে বর্তমান ও স্থায়ী ঠিকানার ঘরে বিভাগ, জেলা, উপজেলা/থানা নির্বাচন করতে হবে। পাসওয়ার্ড ৮ থেকে ১২ ডিজিটের হতে হবে এবং তাতে থাকতে হবে বড় হাতের অক্ষর ও সংখ্যা। যেমন- InfoPedia71
সব তথ্য দেওয়ার পর ফরমে দেখানো ক্যাপচা পূরণ করে ‘রেজিস্টার’ বাটনে ক্লিক করতে হবে। এ সময় মোবাইলে একটি অ্যাক্টিভেশন কোড পাঠানো হবে। কোড চাওয়া হলে তা দিয়ে ভেরিফাই করতে হবে। নিবন্ধন প্রক্রিয়া শেষ হলে আপনাকে লগ-ইন করতে বলা হবে।

দ্বিতীয় ধাপ
এবার জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বর, জন্ম তারিখ, পাসওয়ার্ডের ও ক্যাপচার ঘর পূরণ করে ‘সামনে’ বাটনে ক্লিক করলে মোবাইলে একটি কোড পাঠানো হবে এবং একটি নতুন ফরম ওপেন হবে। তাতে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বর ও মোবাইলে পাঠানো নতুন অ্যাক্টিভেশন কোড দিয়ে লগ-ইন করতে হবে। সঠিকভাবে কোড প্রবেশ করার পর আপনার Account Active হয়ে যাবে। দুই মিনিটের মধ্যে মোবাইলে কোড না আসলে ‘পুনরায় কোড পাঠান’-এ ক্লিক করুন। লগ-ইন করতে পারেন নিচের লিংকে গিয়েও- https://services.nidw.gov.bd/login
এবার তথ্য সংশোধন
লগ-ইন করার পর আপনার পুরো নাম, এনআইডি নম্বর, জন্ম তারিখ, পিতা ও মাতার নাম, বৈবাহিক অবস্থা প্রভৃতি তথ্য দেখাবে। একই সঙ্গে আসবে তথ্য পরিবর্তন, ঠিকানা পরিবর্তন, ভোটার এলাকা স্থানান্তর, পুনর্মুদ্রণ, ছবি পরিবর্তন, আবেদনপত্রের হাল অবস্থা প্রভৃতি অপশন। এসব অপশন ব্যবহার করে বর্ণনার নিচের অংশে থাকা ‘কার্ডের তথ্য পরিবর্তন ফরমে’ ক্লিক করে তথ্য সংশোধন ও পরিবর্তন করা যাবে।
ভুল তথ্যসংবলিত জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের কারণে আপনি বিভিন্ন নাগরিক সেবা থেকে বঞ্চিত হতে পারেন। এ ছাড়া বাসস্থান পরিবর্তন বা অন্য কোনো কারণে ভোটার এলাকা পরিবর্তন বা সংশোধনের প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র পুনর্মুদ্রণেরও প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। চাহিদা অনুযায়ী অপশনে ক্লিক করে তথ্য হালনাগাদ করতে হবে। তথ্য পরিবর্তনের ফরমে তথ্য হালনাগাদ করে সেটির প্রিন্ট নিন। প্রিন্ট করা ফরমে স্বাক্ষর করে সেটির স্ক্যান কপি জমা দিন অনলাইনে। তথ্য পরিবর্তনের সপক্ষে অনলাইনে জমা দিতে হবে প্রয়োজনীয় দলিলের রঙিন স্ক্যান কপি।
জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের ছবি পরিবর্তন
‘ছবি পরিবর্তন’ অপশনে ক্লিক করার পর প্রথমে কম্বো বক্স থেকে জেলা ও উপজেলা নির্বাচন করতে হবে। ছবি তোলার জন্য স্ক্রিনে উপস্থাপিত ক্যালেন্ডার থেকে সবুজ রঙের তারিখগুলোর মধ্যে নির্বাচন করতে হবে আপনার সুবিধামতো তারিখ। আবেদনপত্রের বর্তমান অবস্থা জানা যাবে ‘আবেদনপত্রের হাল অবস্থা’ অংশে ক্লিক করে।
অনলাইনেই হতে পারেন ভোটার
ভোটার হিসেবে নিবন্ধিত না হয়ে থাকলে অনলাইনে আবেদন করতে পারেন। ভোটারের আবেদনের জন্য যেতে হবে -https://services.nidw.gov.bd/newVoter ভোটার তালিকা করার পরে ১৮ বছর বয়সের বেশি হওয়া, প্রবাসী বা বাদপড়া ভোটাররা এই প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে নিবন্ধন করতে পারবেন। ইতিমধ্যে ভোটার হয়ে থাকলে আবার আবেদনের প্রয়োজন নেই। নিবন্ধিত ব্যক্তি আবার আবেদন করলে সেটি দণ্ডনীয় অপরাধ।

যা যা লাগবে
জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নাম (বাংলা/ইংরেজি) এবং জন্ম তারিখ সংশোধনের জন্য লাগবে এসএসসির সনদপত্র, শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা এসএসসি না হলে এবং সরকারি, স্বায়ত্তশাসিত, আধা-স্বায়ত্তশাসিত কিংবা কোনো সংস্থায় চাকরিরত হলে চাকরি বই/মান্থলি পেমেন্ট অর্ডার (এমপিও); অন্যান্য ক্ষেত্রে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রধারীর পাসপোর্ট/জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ/ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স/ট্রেড লাইসেন্স/কাবিননামার সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি। ধর্ম পরিবর্তন বা অন্য কোনো কারণে নামের আমূল পরিবর্তনের ক্ষেত্রে এসব দলিল ছাড়াও লাগবে ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতে সম্পাদিত হলফনামা ও জাতীয় দৈনিক পত্রিকায় প্রকাশিত বিজ্ঞপ্তির কপি।
বিয়ে বা বিয়ে বিচ্ছেদ বা অন্য কোনো কারণে কোনো মহিলা তার নামের সঙ্গে স্বামীর নামের অংশ (টাইটেল) সংযোজন বা বিয়োজন বা সংশোধন করতে চাইলে জমা দিতে হবে কাবিননামা/তালাকনামা/মৃত্যু সনদ/ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতে সম্পাদিত হলফনামা/বিয়ে বিচ্ছেদ ডিক্রির সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি।
মা বা বাবার নাম সংশোধনের ক্ষেত্রে লাগবে এসএসসি, এইচএসসির সনদপত্র (সনদে মা/বাবার নাম উল্লেখ থাকতে হবে) এবং পিতা, মাতা, ভাই ও বোনের জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি। মা বা বাবার নামের আগে ‘মৃত’ সংযোজন বা বিয়োজন করতে লাগবে মৃত্যু সনদ বা তাদের জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি এবং জীবিত থাকার সমর্থনে সংশ্লিষ্ট ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান/পৌর মেয়র/কাউন্সিলরের প্রত্যয়নপত্র। রক্তের গ্রুপ সংযোজন বা সংশোধনের ক্ষেত্রে লাগবে ডাক্তারি সনদ। স্থায়ী ও বর্তমান ঠিকানা বা ভোটার এলাকা পরিবর্তনের (বাসা/হোল্ডিং/গ্রাম/রাস্তা/ডাকঘর) ক্ষেত্রে লাগবে ঠিকানার সপক্ষে বাড়ির দলিল/টেলিফোন, গ্যাস বা পানির বিল/বাড়িভাড়ার চুক্তিপত্র/বাড়িভাড়া রসিদের সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি। জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র পুনর্মুদ্রণের ক্ষেত্রে লাগবে সংশ্লিষ্ট থানায় করা সাধারণ ডায়েরির (জিডি) কপি ও সদ্য তোলা ছবি।
দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা প্রয়োজনে সরেজমিন তদন্ত করবেন। প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র সত্যায়ন করতে পারবেন সংসদ সদস্য, স্থানীয় সরকারের নির্বাচিত জনপ্রতিনিধি, গেজেটেড সরকারি কর্মকর্তা এবং মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধান।
জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নাম (বাংলা/ইংরেজি) এবং জন্ম তারিখ সংশোধনের জন্য লাগবে এসএসসির সনদপত্র, শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা এসএসসি না হলে এবং সরকারি, স্বায়ত্তশাসিত, আধা-স্বায়ত্তশাসিত কিংবা কোনো সংস্থায় চাকরিরত হলে চাকরি বই/মান্থলি পেমেন্ট অর্ডার (এমপিও); অন্যান্য ক্ষেত্রে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রধারীর পাসপোর্ট/জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ/ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স/ট্রেড লাইসেন্স/কাবিননামার সত্যায়িত অনুলিপি। ধর্ম পরিবর্তন বা অন্য কোনো কারণে নামের আমূল পরিবর্তনের ক্ষেত্রে এসব দলিল ছাড়াও লাগবে ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতে সম্পাদিত হলফনামা ও জাতীয় দৈনিক পত্রিকায় প্রকাশিত বিজ্ঞপ্তির কপি।

SME Foundation Bangladesh:
(SMEF) was formally inaugurated today, July 17, 2007, by Dr. A. B. Mirza Md. Azizul Islam, Hon’ble Advisor, ministries of Finance, Commerce, Post & Telecommunications, and Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at a ceremony held at the Hotel Sonargaon, Dhaka.
The SME Foundation is an independent center of excellence created and generously capitalized by the Government of Bangladesh to the tune of a total endowment of Tk. 2 billion. The inaugural was presided over by Mrs. Geetiara Shafiya Chowdhury, Hon’ble Advisor, ministries of Industry, Jute and Textiles, Children & Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Dr. Md. Nurul Amin, Secretary, Ministry of Industries, originally set the proceedings off by delivering an address of welcome. The Hon’ble Finance Advisor also formally launched also at the same time Small & Medium Enterprise Web Portal (SMEWP) and Small & Medium Enterprise Helpline Centers, two of the deliverables within the framework of Small & Medium Enterprise Sector Development Programme (SMESDP), the ADB-assisted technical assistance (TA) project being implemented by the Ministry of Industries. Thirty-two such helpline centers would from now be operating in twenty-five districts of Bangladesh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Hon’ble Finance Advisor appraised his audience about the great importance the Government attaches to the subject of the development of SMEs in the country. He reminded the audience that he was recently called upon by a delegation representing the community of women entrepreneurs. The women entrepreneurs represented, with some visible angst, how difficult it is to succeed in the highly competitive world of SMEs in Bangladesh when one’s bank charges on interest rates as high as 17% to 22%.
The Hon’ble Finance Advisor appeared to commiserate with the women entrepreneurs’ delegation, whereupon he urged the managing directors of private banks present in his audience to do everything in their power to charge SMEs in general and women entrepreneurs in particular interest rates that are affordable. The Hon’ble Finance Advisor expressed his conviction that the under the leadership with a proven track record, the SMEF would more than meet the high expectation the Government and the nation have about it. The Advisor also informed the audience that an orderly transference of the Small Enterprise Fund (SEF) from the Bangladesh Bank to the SMEF was already in train.

The Hon’ble Advisor of Industry, Mrs Chowdhury, said that as well as carefully going into the challenging area of credit wholesaling, where prudential guidelines of the Bangladesh Bank would have to be upheld meticulously, the SMEF would need to be very diligent, highly professional and innovative in both generating a facilitation capacity to have business creation services and business development services delivered to SMEs in general and women entrepreneurs in particular in a demand-driven manner.

Ms Hua Du said in her address that, while it is relatively easy to create a new institution, what really count for a lot more is to run it most prudently, efficiently, astutely, for that is the only way in which an institution can sustain itself and then can grow in others’ regard and esteem. She issued a mild note of caution that the SMEF would be well-advised to get involved in wholesaling credit very very gingerly and cautiously. She also advised the SMEF to ensure that it makes the utmost effort to involve, empower, upgrade and collaborate with the private sector and not crowd it out.
Mr. Abdul-Muyeed Chowdhury responded by saying that the SMEF has every desire to make the private sector the principal change agent on the ground. SMEF, he said, constantly would remind itself that it is a catalyst, a facilitation platform, and wants to be remembered by its work. What is traded on the Foreign Exchange market?

When Can Currencies Be Traded?
The spot FX market is unique within the world markets. It’s like a Super Wal-Mart where the market is open 24-hours a day. At any time, somewhere around the world a financial center is open for business, and banks and other institutions exchange currencies every hour of the day and night with generally only minor gaps on the weekend.
The foreign exchange markets follow the sun around the world, so you can trade late at night (if you’re a vampire) or in the morning (if you’re an early bird). Keep in mind though, the early bird doesn’t necessarily get the worm in this market - you might get the worm but a bigger, nastier bird of prey can sneak up and eat you too…
Why Trade Foreign Currencies?
There are many benefits and advantages to trading Forex. Here are just a few reasons why so many people are choosing this market:
No commissions.
No clearing fees, no exchange fees, no government fees, no brokerage fees. Brokers are compensated for their services through something called the bid-ask spread.
No middlemen. Spot currency trading eliminates the middlemen, and allows you to trade directly with the market responsible for the pricing on a particular currency pair.
No fixed lot size.
In the futures markets, lot or contract sizes are determined by the exchanges. A standard-size contract for silver futures is 5000 ounces. In spot Forex, you determine your own lot size. This allows traders to participate with accounts as small as $250 (although we explain later why a $250 account is a bad idea).
Low transaction costs.
The retail transaction cost (the bid/ask spread) is typically less than 0.1 percent under normal market conditions. At larger dealers, the spread could be as low as .07 percent. Of course this depends on your leverage and all will be explained later.
A 24-hour market.
There is no waiting for the opening bell - from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon EST, the Forex market never sleeps. This is awesome for those who want to trade on a part-time basis, because you can choose when you want to trade--morning, noon or night.
No one can corner the market.
The foreign exchange market is so huge and has so many participants that no single entity (not even a central bank) can control the market price for an extended period of time.
Leverage.
In Forex trading, a small margin deposit can control a much larger total contract value. Leverage gives the trader the ability to make nice profits, and at the same time keep risk capital to a minimum. For example, Forex brokers offer 200 to 1 leverage, which means that a $50 dollar margin deposit would enable a trader to buy or sell $10,000 worth of currencies. Similarly, with $500 dollars, one could trade with $100,000 dollars and so on. But leverage is a double-edged sword. Without proper risk management, this high degree of leverage can lead to large losses as well as gains.
High Liquidity.
Because the Forex Market is so enormous, it is also extremely liquid. This means that under normal market conditions, with a click of a mouse you can instantaneously buy and sell at will. You are never "stuck" in a trade. You can even set your online trading platform to automatically close your position at your desired profit level (a limit order), and/or close a trade if a trade is going against you (a stop loss order).

You would think that getting started as a currency trader would cost a ton of money. The fact is, compared to trading stocks, options or futures, it doesn't. Online Forex brokers offer "mini" and “micro” trading accounts, some with a minimum account deposit of $300 or less. Now we're not saying you should open an account with the bare minimum but it does makes Forex much more accessible to the average (poorer) individual who doesn't have a lot of start-up trading capital.
